Strongtooth Technologies maintains a panel of external Specialist Consultants that may be involved in any aspect of the invention lifecycle. Activities include ideation and brainstorming, technical feasibility analyses, market studies, manufacturing considerations, prior art searching and other issues regarding patentability.
Specialist Consultants are contacted when we are working on projects that require their specific expertise. If they have availability and are free of conflicts for the specific project then they can contribute to the project and are compensated at their requested hourly rate. The requested hourly rate may affect the frequency with which we engage a particular Specialist Consultant when other Specialist Consultants with similar expertise are available at substantially lower rates.
You can apply to be a Specialist Consultant by filling out the form below, and if you are accepted you will be required to sign a Consulting Agreement including a Non-Disclosure Agreement and an Invention Assignment Agreement that covers your entire engagement with Strongtooth.
At the time of acceptance you will need to select a privacy level (private, protected or public) for your relationship with Strongtooth. Private Specialist Consultants are not listed on our web site or by you in your biography or resume. Protected Specialist Consultants are not listed on our web site, but are free to list their relationship with Strongtooth in their biography or resume. Public Specialist Consultants may be listed on our web site and are free to list their relationship with Strongtooth in their biography or resume. Regardless of the privacy selection, should you become an inventor on a patent application, your name will be listed on the patent application and may be published by patent offices in the application phase or as an issued patent.
Before you apply to be a Specialist Consultant we urge you to make sure that you are permitted to enter into such a consulting relationship by your employer or any other agreement by which you are governed.
